The Big Top has been taken down, the hawker boxes have been put away, and the staff has regrouped (somewhat). High Point Events Open House 2014 is just a distant memory now, but it was certainly a circus of a good time while it lasted!
Congrats to our Duck Pond Door Prize winners. Samona Benjamin was the Grand Prize Winner of an ice cream, popcorn, or cotton candy party (she’s still deciding) for 15 at her office at Heraeus Group, Gaithersburg, Md. Carmela Hayes won the second prize, a $25 Amazon gift card. And Nu Le won a stylish High Point Events t-shirt.
Thanks to the loyal customers who came to sample all kinds of new menu items. Hands-down winner of our informal survey of your new food favorites: the Jalapeño Popper, which is a jalapeño pepper, stuffed with cream and Cheddar cheeses, maple syrup and fresh chives, then wrapped in bacon and baked. Please ask for it by name next time you place an order. We’re busy revising our menus but are happy to offer any of the new items you tasted until then.
