Up to 350 guests will enjoy great views of the park from The Bumper Car Pavilion, an open air, covered pavilion with clear, retractable plastic sidewalls. The Ballroom Annex, recently renovated and climate-controlled, accommodates up to 100 guests. For smaller events, like birthday parties, corporate meetings and retreats, the North Arcade Building is a good choice, with single classrooms accommodating up to 35, and double classrooms, up to 60. Other sites are available within the park as well.
In addition to a choice of sites, clients have a wide array of activities with which to entertain guests of all ages. Glen Echo Park has been a National Park since 1971, and one of the most popular activities for guests is a guided tour led by a park ranger. A company picnic might be scheduled to feature tours of the Clara Barton National Historic Site, which is adjacent to the park. A high school reunion might enjoy a Sunday afternoon social in one of the park’s beautiful green open spaces adjacent to the studios of the many artists-in-residence at Glen Echo Park. There are many activities for children also. Parents might like to schedule a child’s outdoor or indoor birthday picnic around the Dentzel Carousel or around a show by The Puppet Co. at the Adventure Theater.
