Giving Back In the community
High Point Catering may be best known for its bbq catering and its wedding catering, but we'd also like to be known as the caterers who give back to their community.
One way is through our commitment to keeping our service components, including High Point Farm, our event site in Clarksburg, Md., as eco-friendly as possible. We now purchase wind power from Pepco and routinely recycle all grease - even cooking grease. Clients are offered the opportunity to use biodegradable cutlery and paper products at their events, whether held at High Point Farm or at other sites. And, of course, we recycle.
Another way we contribute to our community is by donating thousands of pounds of usable food every year to local charities. Here's a list of some of the charities with which we work.
